How we show up
for each other.
Short version: be human. Don't police other people's diagnoses. No harassment. Everything else below is the longer version.
This is a space for human connection and shared experience. It's not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a crisis line.
Self-suspecting, questioning, late-diagnosed, or just ND-adjacent - you belong here if you feel like you do. We don't police diagnoses.
Reading quietly is a valid way to be here. You don't have to introduce yourself or justify being present.
Slow replies are not rudeness. Different processing speeds, executive function variations, and communication styles all belong here.
When someone shares something hard, they may want to be heard rather than advised. Ask "are you looking for support or suggestions?" before offering solutions. Respect "no advice wanted."
You can share your own experience. You can't tell someone else what their brain is or isn't doing.
That includes racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and every other form of dehumanization. You will be removed without a warning if you go there.
Moderation
Micha moderates this community. It's one person, not a team, which means response times vary. If something feels unsafe, use the report function or email hello@neurodivergent.com.
Violations of the no-harassment rule result in immediate removal. Everything else gets a conversation first.
